With the recent acceleration in the take up of HD video inspections in the offshore market, NETmc Marine has begun building HD DVRs for stock and adding additional HD DVRs to its demo/rental pool. These MPEG4 units are suitable for recording video from HD SDI cameras from most of the usual camera manufacturers and come with video overlay, the HD SDI input is downscaled to give a composite output for displaying on older monitors and HD SDI pass through as standard. Options include, support for integrity management software; Dual Format recording - record general footage in SD whilst recording selected footage in HD; support for composite input - allows the recording of a composite input instead of the HD SDI.
