In-Depth International buys DVCiP pipeline video inspection system for Middle East Client

NETmc Marine, developers of advanced digital video recorders and cameras to the subsea inspection market, are pleased to announce the sale of a multichannel pipeline video
acquisition system (DVCiP) to Indepth International for use by one of its clients in the UAE. The system comprises of three HD-IP cameras, depth rated to 6000m and associated topside digital video recorder for deployment on the end customers ROV for pipeline inspection integrated with the clients survey software. Feedback is the system is fully installed and operating on the ROV.

The cameras are small and lightweight, making them suitable for deployment on a wide variety of ROV sizes,and only require a 10/100 link to the surface. The DVR records the IP feeds, using the NETmc Marine developed RTSP protocol and also video overlay.

The DVCiP is only one of a range of DVCi cameras that include the DVCiR, a HD 10x optical zoom ROV Camera and the DVCiD, an HD Diver cameras suited for surface fed spreaeds and bell dive spreads.. Each model can be supplied as IP over Ethernet or for operation overcopper e.g. a twisted pair.
